Here’s a picture of the “77 XS650 I picked up last fall.  My plan is to build a “60’s style street scrambler.  I’ve located a seat and have a proper spoke front wheel.  I’m searching for other parts, (like points covers!) while we’re snowed in here in Ottawa.

I’m particularly interested in finding some affordable, high-mount headers.  If anyone knows a source for these at a price that won’t end my marriage, I’d sure like to hear from you. Also, if you’ve built one of these and have any advice, I’d be glad to have it.
