Just thought I would join in the fun. Here are some pics of a bobber I’m building. Hoping to have it done by Feb 2nd for a show, we’ll see. It has taken me about 5mos to get to what you see here. Most everything you see is custom one off stuff. The Frame is 1.5 inch to match the back bone, I really like the look of the bigger tubes, of course that came with a lot of pain during fabrication. The seat uses a single bicycle shock rated for 950lbs, my shade tree engineering (my butt bouncing in the seat) tells me it is about perfect.
For the front brake I’m using a FZ600 caliper and brembo 320mm rotor actuated by a gsxr600 radial master cylinder all spare parts laying around. Except of course the adapter/mount which I had to mill out myself. The oil/electrical tank took me two weeks to refrabricate. I wanted to sit below the shock perch, in order to make that happen I had to shorten the width by two inches and fabricate a tunnel for the chain to ride in. All that’s left to fabricate is exhaust, that starts tomorrow.
I’ll send more pics when its finished. Oh yeah it started life as an 1981 model.

Here is an update nearing completion. The only thing missing is the Standard tank. We had a small problem occur while prepping it for the bike so it will be a few weeks before it will be mounted. All is ok as we had a spare laying around, bead blasted, and spray-bombed good to go. The seat works like a champ, rides better than any of my sportbikes! This project has been a lot of fun, but very time consuming.
Everything was fabricated or modified for this bike. Nothing is bolt on! The exhaust are hand crafted from 2 inch stainless steel. I added a picture of what I started with, what a P.O.S. Almost unbelievable this came from that! Now it is time to start the Street Tracker!

Just thought I show off the new paint job, yes it is all rattle can! I have one more tank I want to do with engine turning on it, but that one is going to take a while. So this the colors it will wear for a while until I get time. The seat is very comfortable, easy to turn in 60 mile rides without much fuss, not too many rigids can say that.
The front brake set up works like a champ! If anyone has any questions feel free to e-mail me at:
