Thought I'd send a picture in of the bike now that I have it up and running. It's a 1981 SR250 Yamaha Exciter. Engine.....stock frontend....stock rear section.....6'' extended swingarm/with hardtail galvanized struts front tire.........stock rear tire..........16" dunlop some yuppie threw in the dumpster at schucks auto supply seat.....11'' from demon cycle with stock shock under it.

Track ready never raced
Here's my latest creation at the mock up stage with my teenage son trying it for size. Started out as an ' 81 Special (see below). I think I will call her Black Betty or Back in Black.
My name is Randy and I live in Bel Air, Maryland. My babygirl is a XJ650J Maxim. I used about 5 hacksaw blades and a rented wire welder one weekend to cut off the steering neck. It was a blast to make and a bigger blast to ride.
This started off as a stock bike in almost perfect condition. Was almost sad to chop it....hey I said almost! It has a TC Bros weld on hartail as well as forwards, softail headlight, Sporty tank, West Eagle seat, and various other nick nacks I picked up during my build. It would be awsome to see this on your website along with all the other bikes built, customized and driven by talented people around the world!
