XS650Motorcycles.com was registered and built for XS 650 enthusiasts who are looking for a place where they can connect with other enthusiasts regarding technical issues and showcase their hard work by submitting projects.

The site was built by Dave Kerfoot (a web designer based out of waterloo) and is maintained on a daily basis by him and his father, John Kerfoot.

John has been riding motorcycles for 40 years and has been building 650's for close to 10. "I've always been interested in building a motorcycle. Several years ago I bought three abused xs650 Yamaha's and turned one into a street tracker. I got talked into getting my racing license last year (at age 56) and decided to turn the other one into a track bike." said John.
